Thursday night football returns with first game of Week 13
The Dallas Cowboys could be without left tackle Tyron Smith in their matchup with the Saints. The veteran is listed as questionable but NFL Network’s Jane Slater was informed by a source that ‘it is not looking good’ for Smith.
Tyron Smith continues to rehab a neck stinger and right elbow injury. He was called a game-time decision by coach Jason Garrett earlier this week.
Cameron Fleming would start instead of Smith versus the Saints tonight if he is unable to play. Last season when Smith was out, the Cowboys O-line got pummeled. Dallas allowed 4.3 sacks per game in the three games Smith missed in 2017 — it allowed 1.5 sacks per game in the 13 games Smith played in last year.

Dallas have won three straight games after looking like their season might be over a few weeks back, but missing Smith could be a key loss tonight as the Saints are winners of 10 straight games and look completely unstoppable.

The last time the Saints had a win streak this long was in 2009. They took a 13-game winning streak against Dallas, and they had lost.
New Orleans’ last three opponents (Bengals, Eagles, Falcons) have failed to crack 20 points. Meanwhile, the Saints’ 31 points scored last week represented their lowest total since Week 8.
