Sergio Ramos publicly issues an apology for his outburst
Pressure has been on the rise at Real Madrid lately, and while all eyes are on under-fire coach Julen Lopetegui – who has said he is ready to fight, the players are showing the strain.

Sergio Ramos is the latest to make the headlines for the Spanish capital. The Spain defender struck his teammate Sergio Reguilon during a training session ahead of Madrid’s clash with Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday. He intentionally kicked the ball at Reguilon after the 21-year-old defender flew at his captain during a training exercise. Sergio Ramos has since played down the incident and issued an apology on Twitter.
Aunque no os lo parezca, son situaciones bastante habituales, pero no es excusa, mi reacción no debió ser esa.
Nosotros siempre vamos a full, ¿verdad, Regui? ¡¡Al final victoria del equipo juntos @sergio_regui!! 😜🤥😜🤥

“Although it may not seem like it, they are quite common situations, but it is not an excuse, my reaction should not have been that,” Ramos wrote on Twitter.
“We always go full, right, Regui? In the end team victory together.”
Reguilon replied to Ramos’ comment via his own tweet shortly thereafter: “I always support my team and my captain. Let’s go after the victory tomorrow!”
Madrid take on Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday in the Champions League, as they hope to revert their winless run and put their defence of the title back on track.
The Blancos currently lie third in their group after going down to CSKA Moscow in their last game, and will also be looking for a positive result ahead of Sunday’s Clasico at Camp No
