Following a mixed pre-season, Inter Milan look to have sprung into life under new manager Antonio Conte. They have won their first two matches in the new edition of Serie A, notably securing a 4-0 victory against Lecce in the opening fixture.
Antonio Conte has a full squad available after the international break, including Diego Godín and Stefan de Vrij.
New signing Nicolo Barella is also expected to make his full debut for Inter against Udinese. The Italian international will replace Matias Vecino in the number eight role. Barella will be partnered by Stefano Sensi and Croatian international Marcelo Brozovic.
Inter Milan predicted line-up: Handanovic; Skriniar, Godin, Ranocchia; Candreva, Sensi, Vecino, Brozovic, Asamoah; Lukaku, Martinez.

Jens-Stryger Larsen will operate as the wing-back on the right flank, ahead of Hidde ter Avest. Udinese, unfortunately, do not have any out and out left wing-back options, meaning Ken Sema is expected to continue on the opposite flank. Ignacio Pussetto is also an option, however.
As Igor Tudor is shaping up a 3-5-1-1, competition will be strong up front with Kevin Lasagna, Ilija Nestorovski and Stefano Okaka all battling for one spot.
Udinese predicted line-up:Musso; Troost-Ekong, Becao, Samir; Stryger Larsen, Mandragora, de Paul, Jajalo, Sema; Lasagna, Pussetto.
- Inter have kept a clean sheet in their last 3 matches against Udinese in all competitions
- There have been over 2.5 goals scored in Inter’s last 4 games (Serie A)
- Inter have won their last 3 home matches (Serie A)
- Inter have scored at least 2 goals in their last 3 home matches (Serie A)
Prediction: Inter Milan 3 – 1 Udinese
Inter are expected to control the pace of the game and have the superior possession return. It’s not mandatory, but always useful as they seek victory. Inter will be full of confidence and should prove to be too much for an inferior opposition.
