Bayern Munich face RB Leipzig away from home today, knowing a win would hand them their seventh consecutive Bundesliga title.
Date: 11th May 2019
Time: 15:30 CET
Venue: Red Bull Arena Leipzig
After a season-long tussle with Borussia Dortmund over the primate in the Bundesliga, today we will have a verdict on who the German champions will be.
RB Leipzig will be the last side in the way of Bayern and for sure they will not hold back from playing when they face the Bavarians at the Red Bull Arena this afternoon.
RB Leipzig Team News
Kevin Kampl will be the only one absent as for the home side, an absence however, that will surely be felt for Leipzig.

At the back, they will be expected to start with Mukiele, Konate, and Orban at centre-defence positions.

Danish striker Poulsen and star player Timo Werner will start in attack.
Predicted lineup (3-5-2)
Gulasci; Mukiele, Konate, Orban; Ilsanker, Laimer, Halstenberg, Sabitzer, Haidara; Poulsen, Werner

Ulreich will start instead of Neuer who’s still out injured. Kimmich will start on the right while Alaba will start on the left. Sule and Boateng will be the centre-back pair chosen by Kovac to start the match.
Alcantara and Goretzka will be the two midfielders in the centre with Gnabry, Muller and Coman all starting in a more advanced midfield position.
Lewandowski will be the sole man up front for the Bavarian side.
Predicted lineup (4-2-3-1)
Ulreich; Kimmich, Seule, Boateng, Alaba; Alcantara, Goretzka, Gnabry, Muller, Coman; Lewandowski
Bayern Munich were victorious in the reverse fixtures against Leipzig earlier on in the season thanks to a Ribery late goal.
The German champions lead the head-to-head record between the two sides with 4 wins out of all the six meetings between the two while the home side has only won one fixture against Bayern.
The other match ended in a draw.
Lately, Bayern have only dropped two points when they surprisingly were held to a draw by second-bottom side Nurnberg away from home. Aside from that, they have been in quite an impressive form.
If the Bavarian side have been the most in-form side in the Bundesliga over the past weeks, RB Leipzig have not been any less impressive. They have won nine matches out of their past 10.
The last five fixtures for the two sides:
|RB Leipzig||Bayern Munich|
|Mainz 3-3 Leipzig (03/05)||Bayern 3-1 Hannover (04/04)|
|Leipzig 2-1 Freiburg (27/04)||Nurnberg 1-1 Bayern (28/04)|
|Hamburg 1-3 Leipzig (23/04)||Bremen 2-3 Bayern (24/04)|
|Monchengladbach 1-2 Leipzig (20/04)||Bayern 1-0 Bremen (20/04)|
|Leipzig 2-0 Wolfsburg (13/04)||Dusseldorf 1-4 Bayern (14/04)|
