TOULOUSE AGREE TERMS FOR TODIBO SALE

Toulouse have agreed to a January deal with Barcelona for Toulouse Jean-Clair Todibo, according to Mundo Deportivo.

A deal with the player was reached in January for Todibo to join Barca when his contract expires in the summer, but Barca were keen to hurry the deal along.

The 19-year-old is badly out of favour at the Ligue 1 outfit and has reportedly been angry at the lack of first-team opportunities since signing as a professional.


MONACO COULD SIGN KAGAWA

AS Monaco are on the verge of signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Shinji Kagawa on loan until the end of the season, according to Sky Germany.

The Ligue 1 outfit are still desperate to bring in more reinforcements before the transfer window closes, as they bid to stave off relegation over the next few months.

Kagawa has only appeared in four matches for Dortmund across all competitions this term, falling way down the pecking order under club boss Lucien Favre.


VOKES TO LEAVE BURNLEY?

Stoke City have opened talks with Burnley over a possible transfer for Sam Vokes, according to the Telegraph.

Peter Crouch could be sent to Turf Moor as part of any potential deal, with Burnley’s current valuation of the striker holding up the deal at the moment.

Vokes has scored three goals in 20 Premier League appearances for Burnley this season.


UNITED AGREE TERMS TO SELL FELLAINI

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has agreed terms on a transfer to Chinese Super League club Shandong Luneng – according to BBC Sport.

The Belgian will leave Old Trafford after a six-year stay at the club, during which he managed to win the FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Europa League.

Fellaini has racked up 177 appearances for United since 2013 but has fallen down the pecking order at the club since the arrival of caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.


WAGNER COMPLETES CHINA MOVE

Bayern Munich forward Sandro Wagner has completed a move to Tianjin TEDA in the Chinese Super League, the German club has announced on Wednesday.

The 31-year-old’s 11-year stint with the Bundesliga champions has come to an end after he requested to be released from his contract.

Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic stated after the transfer was finalised: “Sandro Wagner came up to us and asked for the release from his contract. He has a very attractive offer from China and we have met his request.

“We expressly thank Sandro for spending time with FC Bayern and wish him all the best and much success for his future in China.”


RAHMAN LEAVES CHELSEA

Baba Rahman has left Chelsea for French side Reims on loan until the summer, according to the club’s official website.

The 24-year old left back has suffered several resources throughout his career but is hopeful his new experience in Ligue 1 will help him bounce back.


DI SANTO SET TO JOIN GALATASARAY

Schalke forward Franco Di Santo is finalising a move to Galatasaray, according to Bild.

Negotiations between the two clubs are reportedly in advanced stages, with a 1.5-year contract offer mooted.

The 29-year-old only appeared in five matches for Schalke this season and failed to find the back of the net.


JESE JOINS LA LIGA SIDE  REAL BETIS

The PSG forward has joined Real Betis on loan until the end of the season.

Last year, he joined Stoke City also on loan where he scored just one goal in 13 appearances.

The Spaniard returned to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer but only managed to feature once since the start of the 2018-2019 campaign.


FLORENTIN POGBA TO MOVE TO MLS

Florentin Pogba will complete a free transfer to MLS outfit Atlanta United, according to L’Equipe.

The Frenchman has been a free agent since being released by Turkish club Genclerbirligi last summer and went on trial with Elche in La Liga earlier this month.

Pogba will now join up with Dutch coach Frank de Boer, who took over as manager at Atlanta in December.


LIVERPOOL IN FOR ‘TURKISH MESSI’?

Trabzonspor midfielder Abdulkadir Omur has emerged as a top transfer target for Liverpool, according to iNews.

The 19-year-old dubbed ‘the Turkish Messi’ has attracted attention from a number of top European clubs, including Bayern Munich and Arsenal.

However, Liverpool are thought to be leading the chase for his signature, with just two days left before the January window slams shut.


EMERY THINKS SUAREZ WILL HELP ARSENAL IMPROVE

Suarez is nearing a loan move to the Gunners and, having seen the winger up close during his time in Spain, Emery says he’ll be a natural fit.


CASTAGNE ON CELTIC RADARS?

Atalanta has reportedly rejected a bid from Celtic for right-back Timothy Castagne.

According to Calciomercato.it, Celtic had pinpointed Castagne as the ideal heir to Mikael Lustig, whose contract expires this summer.

However, the website warns the Scottish champions failed in their undisclosed offer for the 23-year-old as Atalanta deemed it ‘too low’ and there was not enough time for them to find a ‘suitable’ replacement.


MARCO BORRIELLO TERMINATES CONTRACT WITH UD IBIZA

Marco Borriello has officially terminated his playing contract with Spanish minnows UD Ibiza but will continue to work ‘alongside’ their President.

Borriello only joined Ibiza last summer, having left SPAL on a free transfer, but made just seven appearances for the Islanders without scoring a goal and last played in the Spanish third tier over two months ago.


LAZIO TO SELL TWO PLAYERS

Lazio have confirmed that Alessandro Murgia is joining SPAL, Dusan Basta ‘can go’ to Bologna and ‘we could sign a right-back’ before Thursday’s deadline.

Murgia pictured and Basta have played just a combined six games for Lazio this season, while the Aquile have been linked with the likes of Stefan Ristovski and Davide Zappacosta.


CELTA VIGO SET TO KEEP MAXI GOMEZ

Celta Vigo are not open to selling Maxi Gomez to West Ham, according to the Sun.

The two sides were near a deal, but the Spanish club performed U-turn by informing West Ham that they would not consider a move until after the season.

Gomez is still likely to move to London in the summer as he looks to help his side fight off relegation.


SILVA-TIELEMANS SWAP AGREED

Leicester and Monaco are on the verge of settling a deal to swap Adrien Silva and Youri Tielemans, according to Le10Sport.

The Foxes, therefore are set to welcome their most awaited upgrade in midfield in exchange of little-used Adrien Silva.


ARSENAL TURN TO CARRASCO AFTER LOSING OUT ON PERISIC

Arsenal are reportedly in talks to sign Yannick Carrasco after Inter refused to loan out Ivan Perisic.

The claim was made by Sky Sports Italia on Wednesday morning, just hours after Inter reiterated they had not received a suitable offer from Arsenal for Perisic.

Carrasco had also been a Nerazzurri and Milan target but now seems set for North London, the winger’s agent has already confirmed his intent to leave Dalian Yifang.


SAMPDORIA TO KEEP AUDERO

Juventus have announced that goalkeeper Emil Audero will join Sampdoria permanently this summer.

Samp already had an option to buy Audero, who has been on loan from Juve since the start of the season, but they will now keep the player for a fee of €20m, payable over four years.

However, it is not known what the conditions are for the Bluerchiati to take up their obligatory option for the Italy Under-21 international.

Audero has played every minute of Samp’s Serie A campaign so far and had also been linked with Arsenal.


CHINESE OFFERS FOR BELOTTI AND IMMOBILE

Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang has made a bid between €50 and €60 million to buy Andrea Belotti or Ciro Immobile but was declined by both Torino and Lazio.

According to multiple reports, Dalian Yifang want to replace departing Yannick Carrasco with another big name but neither of the two Italians even considered the offer.

 


VIDA TO ROMA ALMOST DONE

According to Sky Sports Italia, Roma are very close to signing Croatian defender Domagoj Vida from Besiktas.

The transfer fee is reported to be around €7.5 million even though the type of transfer is still not defined.

Inter were also interested in the 29-year old Croatia international centre-back but were unable to carry on with the deal due to Miranda not being sold.


BARRECA TO JOIN NEWCASTLE 

Antonio Barreca, who moved from Torino to Monaco last summer, only made nine competitive appearances for the principality club and now he is on the verge of joining Newcastle United.

According to Sky Sports Italia, there was a last minute attempt by Roma to snatch the young defender from the Magpies but it was too late.

Barreca already has a flight booked for tomorrow, where he will undergo a medical.

It’s believed to be a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season.


JUVENTUS AND DORTMUND TO BID FOR CHRISTENSEN

Both the Italian champions as well as the current Bundesliga leaders are set to bid for highly-rated Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen, according to The Sun.  

This season, the Dane has only managed to get one appearance under new manager Maurizio Sarri in contrast to last year’s big role under Antonio Conte.

The two clubs both wish to make a move before Thursday and have to up their pace if they want to secure the deal.


WATFORD NOT WILLING TO SELL DEULOFEU

The Hornets have informed Milan that the Spanish right winger Gerard Deulofeu will not be sold in January, as reported by Calciomercato.

The Rossoneri initially tried for a loan-to-buy deal for Deulofeu with the Premier League side responding they want cash only. Deulofeu is therefore set to stay with the Hornets at least until the summer.


GENOA SIGN LERAGER

Italian Serie A side Genoa have made official the signing of Danish midfielder Lukas Lerager from Bordeaux.

The 25-year old was signed on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season for around €6 million.

According to Sky Sports Italia, the deal turns into an obligation if Lerager plays half of the games over the rest of the season.
