Sanches expecting Bayern stay

Renato Sanches is expecting to remain at Bayern Munich, with the Portuguese midfielder claiming that manager Niko Kovac “needs me because I’m a good player”.

He has said: “If the best for me is to stay here, I’ll stay – I want to play football.”


Roma wrap up Veretout deal


Villa to sign £8.75m Trezeguet

Aston Villa are set to sign Egypt winger Trezeguet, according to The Telegraph.

The newly-promoted side have reportedly agreed on a £8.75m (€9.75m/$11m) fee with Turkish side Kasimpasa for his services.

Trezeguet, 24, managed nine goals and assists in the Turkish Super Lig last season from 34 appearances.


Arsenal step up Ceballos chase

Arsenal are stepping up their pursuit of Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos on loan, Goal understands.

The Gunners are increasingly confident of landing their man and a deal could be struck as soon as Wednesday, when the two clubs meet for a pre-season friendly.

Arsenal are also preparing a third bid for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney after beating Tottenham to Saint-Etienne centre-back William Saliba, before turning their attention to another centre-back and a winger.


Inter close in on Dzeko

Inter are closing in on the signing of Edin Dzeko from Roma, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Roma value the striker at €20m (£18m/$22.5m) but are willing to accept a lower offer, and the Nerrazzuri are set to test their resolve with a €12m (£11m/$13.5m) bid.

Antonio Conte is keen to reinforce his striking options and will consider alternatives to Romelu Lukaku if he proves too expensive, including Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic.


Roma to take Higuain on loan?

Juventus could offload Gonzalo Higuain on loan once again, this time to Roma, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Serie A champions are keen to move the Argentine on this summer, and the capital club are keen on a loan deal with a purchase clause at the end of the season if Edin Dzeko leaves for Inter.

Higuain has worn the number 21 shirt instead of the 9 since returning to Juventus after loan spells at AC Milan and Chelsea last season.


Hernandez unsure on future

West Ham striker Javier Hernandez has said that his future is not in his hands amidst speculation he could be leave the club, according to Sky Sports.

The arrival of club-record signing Sebastien Haller from Eintracht Frankfurt has placed the Mexican’s status at the club in some doubt.

However, following the departures of Marko Arnautovic, Andy Carroll and Lucas Perez, it may be that Manuel Pellegrini looks to hold on to Hernandez as cover for Haller.


PSG want Dybala as Neymar replacement

Paris Saint-Germain have identified Paulo Dybala as the man they want to replace Neymar if the Brazilian leaves the club, according to the Mirror.

Neymar has been continually linked with a move back to Spain and the Argentine – valued at €80m (£72m/$90m) – is thought to be open to leaving Juventus.

Manchester United are also interested in Dybala, but cannot offer him Champions League football and will not be able to compete financially with PSG without selling Paul Pogba.


Spurs make Lo Celso offer

Tottenham have submitted a €68m (£61m/$77m) offer for Giovani Lo Celso, according to El Transistor.

The Real Betis midfielder has been linked with Spurs all summer as the club look to bolster the squad after reaching the Champions League final.

Spurs have already added midfielder Tanguy Ndombele this summer.


West Ham agree €8m Obiang fee

West Ham have agreed to a €8 million (£7m/$9m) fee plus bonuses to sell Pedro Obiang to Sassuolo, according to Gianlucadimarzio.com.

Obiang is currently on tour with the Hammers, but will depart the squad on Sunday to head to Italy as he returns to Serie A.


Boca Juniors: De Rossi deal is ’99 per cent done’

Boca Juniors president Daniel Angelici has said that a deal for Daniele De Rossi deal is “99 per cent done.”

The Roma legend is set to continue his career in Argentina after spending 18 seasons with the Italian capital side.


Spurs offer to more than double Eriksen’s wages

Tottenham are attempting to get Christian Eriksen to agree a new deal by offering more than double his current wages, according to the Daily Mail.

Eriksen earns about £80,000 a week, with Spurs first offering to go to around £160,000 per week and are now discussing £200,000, more than doubling his £4 million salary.

But with one year left on his deal, Eriksen is claiming money won’t play a factor as reports of interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona loom.


Roma focused on Suso

Roma are looking at Milan attacker Suso, but the San Siro club want near his €40 million (£36m/$45m) release clause, reports Gianlucadimarzio.com.

New Roma coach Paulo Fonseca has requested Suso but Milan have asked for Nicolo Zaniolo in return and the capital club don’t want to sell the 20-year-old.

Cengiz Under might interest Milan as could Patrik Schick, though the forward has interest from Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund.
