Man United told Rice won’t be sold this summer

West Ham have issued a hands-off warning over Declan Rice, according to Sky Sports.

The 20-year-old has caught the eye of Manchester United and City this summer having firmly established himself in the Hammers’ first-team last season.

It is understood the two Manchester clubs have enquired about the midfielder, who also earned his first England cap this year, but West Ham were quick to rebuff the interest.

Everton agree £22m deal for Andre Gomes

The Toffees have reached an agreement with Barcelona over a £22 million move for Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes, according to Sky Sports.

The midfielder impressed in a loan spell with the Toffees during the 2018-19 season, with Marco Silva’s side keen to make the switch permanent.

And the transfer is set to be finalised imminently, with the player due to complete the formalities of the move in the next 24 hours.

Dortmund set to sign Hummels

Mats Hummels is nearing a return to Borussia Dortmund, Bayern’s club website have confirmed.

The 30-year-old played for Dortmund from 2008-2016, and now looks set to return after a three-year spell with Bayern, during which he won three successive Bundesliga titles.

Pogba favours Juventus over Madrid

Paul Pogba would rather rejoin Juventus than make the switch to Real Madrid should he leave Man Utd this summer, according to Sky Sports.

The 26-year-old reportedly wants to leave Old Trafford, but the club expect the midfielder to stay.

Juventus are, however, stepping up their efforts to lure their former player back to Turin.

Neymar tells PSG he wants Barcelona move

Neymar has told Paris Saint-Germain that he wants to be sold to Barcelona this summer, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Brazil international has endured a troubled two years with the Ligue 1 champions, and has now made his feelings clear to PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

It is reported he said: “I do not want to play anymore at PSG. I want to go back to my home, where I should never have left.”

Manchester City to make €95m Koulibaly bid

Manchester City are set to make a €95 million (£85m/$016m) bid for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The potential signings of James Rodriguez and Hirving Lozano may force the Serie A side to sell a key player this summer, and City are keen to take advantage.

Senegal international Koulibaly would be keen to work under Pep Guardiola should the offer be forthcoming.

Granit Xhaka interests Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid are interested in Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka as they look to fill the void left by Rodri, ahead of his move to Manchester City, reports the Sun.

Xhaka made 29 league appearances last season and was a key member of Unai Emery’s midfield, but Atletico boss Diego Simeone is keen to bring in the Swiss international as a like-for-like switch for the departing Rodri.

PSG interested in Milan’s Donnarumma

Paris Saint-Germain will opt to make a move for AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma rather than attempt to lure David de Gea to the Parc des Princes, reports the Sun.

The Ligue 1 champions brought former sporting director Leonardo back into the same role last week, and he would prefer to target the £60 million-rated ($75m) 20-year-old as opposed to De Gea.

Fekir to leave Lyon

Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir is likely to leave the Ligue 1 side this summer, president Jean-Michel Aulas told the club’s official website.

The 25-year-old was reportedly inches away from becoming a Liverpool player last summer before the Reds pulled out of the deal due to concerns over a knee injury.

Aulas admitted that the Frenchman’s ‘preference is towards a departure’, and added: “We are open to discussions.

“We have no news. We are waiting for proposals in the coming days but for the moment we do not have any.”

Manchester United considering Hysaj

Manchester United are considering a move for Napoli full-back Elseid Hysaj, reports Gianluca DiMarzio.

It is no secret that the Red Devils are in the market for a full-back this summer, and they have reportedly seen two bids turned down for £50 million-rated ($63m) Crystal Palace youngster Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Serie A side are looking to balance the books before they can turn their attention towards James Rodriguez, Kostas Manolas and Hirving Lozano, and Hysaj would likely be a player they would look to cash in on.

Napoli close in on James

Napoli are closing in a loan deal to sign James Rodriguez from Real Madrid, with a view to making the deal permanent for €30 million (£27m/$34m), reports Gianluca Di Marzio.

James’ agent, Jorge Mendez, is reportedly in Madrid to finalise a deal with the player already keen on a move, while Napoli wait on confirmation.

The Colombian has spent the past two seasons on loan at Bayern Munich, who opted not to make the move permanent at the end of last season.
