The French forward has reportedly asked the Catalan club to get him a transfer away from the Camp Nou as soon as the transfer window opens in January.
This amid the rumours of a return for Neymar to the Spanish champions after his 4-year spell with the Blaugrana between 2013 and 2017.
Dembele has never really settled in at Barcelona and failed to live up to his huge transfer price tag of €105 million paid to Borussia Dortmund back in 2017.
Unfortunately, the French winger has constantly appeared in newspaper headlines for negative reasons. Dembele showed lack of professional behaviour and as a result, was sidelined by Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde for a number of fixtures.
Despite being surrounded by numerous transfer rumours, the 21-year old Barcelona winger managed to put up a relatively good display in a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid on Saturday. In fact, he got on the scoresheet in the dying moments of the match to rescue a point for the Blaugrana in a crucial La Liga clash.

The Catalan club are constantly being linked to rumours of Brazil star Neymar returning to the Camp Nou and Dembele could be included in the potential deal between Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain.
It surely won’t be an easy task for the Barcelona sporting director to convince PSG to give in and sell their star player. Neymar has an incredible tally of 29 goals and 18 assists in 31 league games played for PSG since joining them last year.
Even though the Dembele-Neymar swoop is being backed by quite a lot of news portals, the deal is far from done. There may have been some preliminary talks but there is still a long way to go.
Surely, if Dembele is offered to the Parisians, the offer will need to include a substantial amount of money over and above.
The major risk, if this deal was to go down, would undoubtedly be taken by PSG as they would be getting a player who is yet to show his full potential and establish himself in the category of players such as Neymar.
