Brazilian forward Neymar is available to play for Paris Saint-Germain as they face Strasbourg tomorrow.
The Brazilian was left out of their squad after there were rumours of a move to Barcelona this summer. Neymar is likely to play his first match of the season for the Ligue 1 champions.
PSG coach Thomas Tuchel said: “We have ‘Ney’ in our squad, for sure”, adding “he needs to make his comeback”.
Paris Saint-Germain play Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday. However, they first play Strasbourg in Ligue 1 tomorrow. He made his first season appearances with Brazil a few days ago against Colombia and Peru.
Barcelona spent most of the summer transfer market negotiating with the Parisians to bring back Neymar. The winger had left Barcelona two years ago for a world record fee of €222 million. However, Barca failed to close the deal for the Brazilian.
Former teammate Lionel Messi publicly said that he pushed hard for Neymar to return to Barcelona. PSG’s sporting director Leonardo had also said that Neymar wanted to leave PSG.
Apparently, PSG were open to offers for the Brazil forward but reportedly rejected the offer including players made by Barcelona.
Neymar still holds the status of being the world’s most expensive player in the history of the sport.

Manager Thomas Tuchel said that all players are available tomorrow except for Kehrer, Draxler, Cavani and Mbappe.
The PSG fans are expected to give the Brazilian a cold reception tomorrow with the reason being some unwanted comments in the past. Neymar had said that his best memory as a footballer was Barcelona’s 6-1 win against PSG back in 2017.
“I can’t control how the fans will react,” said Tuchel.
“But the more you talk about something the more it becomes a big thing.”
