How Great Is Liverpool’s Mo Salah, Really?

A record-breaking year but Klopp believes Mo still has work to do

Mo Salah has had a year of immense success. He has broken countless records and achieved so much for himself, and Liverpool. When speaking about Mo, Klopp has joked; Salah would win an award for getting out of his car, but yet he insists; “There’s still work to do,” as he believes Mo has new goals to set and achieve.

Mo Salah similarly expressed his will to excel when speaking about his dreams and objectives;

“I remember watching the Champions League all the time and then trying to be like Brazilian Ronaldo, Zidane and Totti when playing out in the street with my friends. I loved those kinds of players – players who played with magic,” Mo said. “Since the beginning of my career, I have always wanted to win everything. I hope I can become the best player in the history of Egypt. I work really hard every day to achieve my objective.”

It’s hard to imagine what else Mo can do to impress us, looking back at the year he has had.
