Mosta retain Premier League division

Birkirkara suffered a 2-1 defeat to Mosta in the Maltese Premier League on Saturday. Birkirkara were looking for redemption coming from a 3-2 defeat against Hibernians.

Four minutes in, things were looking promising for Birkirkara as Marcelo De Siqueira went through inside the penalty area past Tyrone Farrugia and netted the ball in the bottom corner. However, in the tenth minute Mosta hit back.
