Rossoneri could soon turn the Arabic style on
As reported a few days ago, AC Milan’s ownership is at stake again. This is possible as the club’s president Yonghong Li continues to struggle to maintain the club’s financial commitments. Now, various newspapers and sources revealed the name of the new businessman who is ready to take over from Li.
According to Telelombardia, the Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Group is the entity interested to acquire the majority of ownership inside AC Milan. This group is not new inside Milan. In fact, it has already began various projects in the region. Moreover, the group owns 19 shopping malls in Saudi Arabia and plans to build the biggest shopping mall in Europe in Rome in the future. Also, the founder of the group, Fawaz Alhokair is also a property developer.
As mentioned, the group has some projects ongoing close to Sesto San Giovanni near Milan. Noteworthy is the fact that Milan’s mayor Giuseppe Sala picked up that same area as a place to build the new Milan stadium. Almost a done deal then?
