Gonzalo Higuain, also known as El Pipita joined Juventus in the summer of 2016 for a club record fee of 90 million Euros. Former Premier League champions Chelsea, who finished last season in sixth place are rumoured to be highly interested in the Argentinean. With former Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri close to landing the Chelsea job, it could be a match made in heaven for The Blues. After joining Napoli from Spanish giants Real Madrid in 2013, Higuain became a club idol thanks to his goalscoring efforts. In three seasons, El Pipa bagged 91 goals for the Partenopei. He also played a pivotal role in their Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana title victories.
In his final season with Napoli, Higuain finished as the league’s top goal scorer with 36 goals. 17 more goals than his closest rival Paolo Dybala. He also equalled a long-standing record set by Gino Rossetti back in 1928–29.
