Cristiano Ronaldo is leaving his Spanish days behind him
Juventus and Real Madrid have agreed on a deal worth approximately £105m for Cristiano Ronaldo. According to Sky Italy, Ronaldo is close to joining Juventus from Real Madrid and it is expected to be made official in a matter of hours.
Rumours of the 33-year-old’s potential move to the Serie A champions have been gathering pace over the last seven days and it seems the transfer could now be concluded as soon as Tuesday afternoon.
Juventus president Andrea Agnelli is understood to have travelled to Greece, where Ronaldo is currently on holiday with his family to present him with the contract to sign.
His Los Blancos counterpart Florentino Pérez has given his consent for the club’s all-time record goalscorer to leave for pastures new.
Ronaldo has often been linked with moves away from the Spanish capital, but it seems, at long last, it is finally happening. Ronaldo will be fitted to wear a black and white shirt for Juventus.
More to come.
